Welcome to Merapar Agile Technologies. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Merapar Agile Technologies’ public training courses.
By booking or attending our courses, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
1.1. “Company” refers to Merapar Agile Technologies, its employees, and associates.
1.2. “Client” refers to the person or organisation making the booking and any individual attending the course.
1.3. “Course” refers to the public training course(s) provided by the Company.
2.1. Bookings can be made via our website, email, or phone.
2.2. Full payment is required upon booking to secure a place on the course unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.3. Prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT, where applicable.
2.4. All prices are subject to change, but any changes will not affect bookings that have already been confirmed.
3.1. The Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses at any time. If a course is cancelled by the Company, clients will be offered the choice of a full refund or a transfer to an alternative date.
3.2. The Company reserves the right to make changes to course content, trainers, or venue when necessary. Clients will be notified as soon as possible.
4.1. If the client wishes to cancel or reschedule a course booking, they must notify the Company in writing.
4.2. The following cancellation terms apply:
4.3. The client may nominate a substitute delegate to attend in their place at no extra charge, provided the Company is informed at least 24 hours prior to the course start.
5.1. Refunds will only be issued in accordance with our cancellation policy.
5.2. In the event of a course cancellation by the Company, clients are entitled to a full refund or course transfer.
5.3. Refunds will be processed within 7 business days to the original method of payment.
5.4. No refunds will be issued for partial attendance or failure to attend the course.
6.1. The Company will not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential losses or damages arising in connection with the use of its services.
6.2. The Company is not liable for any loss or damage to personal property or for personal injury during the training course, except where such injury is caused by negligence on the part of the Company.
6.3. The Company’s total liability, whether in contract, delict (including negligence), or otherwise, shall not exceed the total amount paid for the course.
7.1. All intellectual property rights in the course materials, presentations, and any other content provided by the Company remain the property of the Company unless otherwise stated.
7.2. Clients may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any course materials without prior written consent from the Company.
8.1. The Company and its clients agree to treat any confidential information shared during the course as such. Confidential information should not be disclosed to any third party without prior consent.
9.1. The Company complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Any personal information collected will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
10.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa.
10.2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
REFUND POLICY

At Merapar Agile Technologies, we strive to ensure client satisfaction. If for any reason you are not completely happy with our service or need to cancel your booking, we have established the following refund policy:
1.1. Cancellations made more than 14 days before the course start date are eligible for a full refund minus an administrative fee of R150.
1.2. Cancellations made between 7-14 days before the course start date are eligible for a 50% refund.
1.3. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the course start date are not eligible for a refund.
2.1. If Merapar Agile Technologies cancels a course, clients are entitled to a full refund or transfer to an alternative course date.
2.2. Refunds will be processed within 7 business days to the original payment method used by the client.
3.1. No refunds will be granted for partial attendance or failure to attend the course.
4.1. Refund requests must be made in writing via email to [email address] and include the client’s name, booking details, and reason for the cancellation.
4.2. Refunds will be processed in line with the cancellation terms outlined in the Terms and Conditions.
